As the owner of Michelle Rose Psychotherapy & Coaching, I offer a personalized and collaborative approach to care. I respect each client’s unique story and support individuals through a compassionate and nonjudgmental process.
With 19 years of experience as a Registered Nurse across diverse clinical and educational roles, I bring a commitment to whole-person, evidence-informed practice. I hold a Bachelor of Nursing Science and a Master of Nursing Science (Education focus) and am qualified as a Certified Nurse Psychotherapist/Psychotherapist Nurse.
My approach is evidence-based and integrative. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and elements of positive psychology. My practice is grounded in structured skill development and collaborative goal setting.
I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, substance use concerns, life transitions, and adjustment to medical conditions, including oncology-related care.
For those seeking a Biblical Christian perspective, spiritual values may be respectfully integrated into therapy upon request.
I am committed to helping individuals build insight, resilience, and practical skills to navigate life’s challenges.
